Breakthrough of LED Lighting in China
2018/12/5 16:15:59
For the enterprises that just entered the LED lighting industry from 2007 to 2008, the most important concern is when the industry will get hot. From 2009, a large amount of capital will flow into the LED lighting market. In 2010, there are rumors of overcapacity. In 2011, some people claim that it is the first year of LED lighting. In 2012, people in the industry are looking forward to a significant outbreak. The emergence of the LED lighting market can be described as several twists and turns, but due to the government's high attention, capital investment of enterprises in the industry, the LED lighting industry has also been unprecedented rapid development.

According to the analysis of LED lighting cost made by National Laboratory of San Diego, the investment cost is to allocate the purchase cost of each light bulb (per megalumen hour) to the whole life cycle. The operation cost refers to the cost of a light bulb (per megalumen hour) from the operation time to the operation time. Ownership cost is the sum of investment cost and operation cost. It reflects the total cost of a light bulb from purchasing, running to the end of its life cycle.

At present, the initial investment cost of LED is higher, and the operating cost is lower than that of incandescent lamp. The total cost of ownership is still higher than that of incandescent lamp and fluorescent lamp. When the cost of LED ownership falls to $0.77 per megalumen in 2012, it will be less than $1 per megalumen of fluorescent lamps. It is estimated that the cost of LED ownership will be reduced to $0.48 by 2020, only half of the cost of fluorescent lamps.

In addition to the reduction of the cost of LED ownership, the policy is undoubtedly the best booster for the LED lighting industry. In February 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a tender announcement for the promotion project of financial subsidies for semiconductor lighting products in 2012. The tender project includes 50 bidding enterprises for LED barrel lamps for indoor lighting, self-ballasting LED lamps for emission, and 30 LED street lamps for outdoor lighting (Qingdao led lights), LED tunnel lights and other LED lighting products. Standard enterprise. In July of the same year, the Ministry of Science and Technology formulated the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for the Development of Semiconductor Lighting Science and Technology to further accelerate the innovation and development of Semiconductor Lighting Technology and Industry. At the same time, Guangdong Province issued the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" for the Development of LED Industry in Guangdong Province, with a maximum of 50 million subsidies for the declared projects. 。

"From the incandescent lamp ban as a start, we did not think it would have much impact, because the European Union as early as 2012 began to implement, thinking that China's progress will be slower, but now it seems that this is not the case. With the ban on the sale of incandescent lamps, the introduction of bidding and subsidy schemes by three ministries and commissions of the state, and the policy response of local governments, the industry has been given a clear signal. The state is guiding the LED industry to move forward to the application stage, and starting to officially start supporting the rapid development of the LED lighting industry. Luo Wenzheng, chief engineer of Xinli Light Source, told reporters: "Moreover, we have noticed that several major international lighting giants, such as Philips and Osram, have also begun to lay out LED production bases in China and invest in capital. China's LED lighting industry development situation, in the current international form, is relatively good.

"But among them, we have to pay attention to such a signal that this year the state proposed the establishment of energy-saving lamp recycling mechanism. It is well known that Mercury in energy-saving lamps can cause serious pollution to groundwater and soil. In recent years, through policy subsidies, a large number of energy-saving lamps have flowed into the market, sold, used and discarded, but never mentioned how to recycle and dispose of them. But now, the state clearly proposes to recycle energy-saving lamps. There may be two situations for recycling. One is to find a specially recycled manufacturer to recycle an energy-saving lamp and how much subsidies the recycling enterprise can get. The other is to let the manufacturer of energy-saving lamps recycle the energy-saving lamps by itself, or the government collects a certain amount of recycling treatment from each enterprise. Cost. Because environmental governance requires investment, which indirectly increases the cost of energy-saving lamps, then, when the price of LED drops to the same level, can we ban energy-saving lamps in advance?"Luo Wen, chief worker of Xinli Light Source, is explaining to reporters:"The introduction of some relevant national policies often implies a lot of important information. Manufacturers must make full use of this information to analyze the market situation.
